    QUALITY IS THE BASIS OF COMPETITIVE ABILITY

    Ensuring of competitive ability of fish production on markets is achieved due to the increase of the quality level together with the interaction with its iden-tification in the system of quality management. The scientific approach to the in-vestigation of the reserves of the quality increase, which is based on the integral perception of integrated economic space, has been worked out in Russian and foreign theory recently. Any goods have a complex of properties, which deter-mine the degree of its aptitude to the use in certain conditions. To evaluate the competitive ability of the goods fairly, the supplier must use the same criteria as the consumer. In order to absolutely satisfy consumers' needs, and the intention of definition and coherency in the organization of the work, it is necessary to apply the system of quality management in accordance with the requirements of the inter-national standard ISO 9001: 2000 and all-Union state standard P ISO 90012001.
