The necessity of branding for higher educational institutions in the modern world is proved. The author offers an opinion that heraldry and symbolics give not only individuality but also underlie traditions. The symbolics of hEI assists to increase pride for Alma mater, interest in history and the spiritual unity of educational institution and graduating students. The author accents attention on the necessity of deep learning the branding concept, understanding the principles of brandname style creation at practical branding for organization.Key words: heraldry, coat of arms, emblem, symbol, symbolics, brandname style, brand, higher educational institution.</p></li></ul>
