Johnson appoints key creative heads for upcoming EXPULSION! Los Angeles January, 2010 Ballet Magique creator and director Anthony W. Johnson recently returned to Los Angeles from New York City where he met with key members of his companys newly appointed creative team. The new team consists of an outstanding group of exceptional talent including the likes of sound designer and composer Brett Jarvis, whose impressive resume includes, among other things the 58th Annual Tony Awards top winner Avenue Q; Al Crawford, lighting designer for the world renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and Adam Larsen, the highly respected projection designer known for his work on the Fulton Opera House world premiere of The French Lieutenants Woman with costume designs by Christos Andriopoulis and multi-award winning scenic designer Mikael Melbye of the Royal Danish Opera House. The team has begun pre-production on Ballet Magiques highly anticipated new show EXPULSION. EXPULSION, in the words of its creator Anthony W. Johnson, exposes the cold heat of greed and pride that is lost by a young man named Jack, and his nemesis Ace, as they set off to play a series of games. They play these games of strategy and chance; first cards, then roulette and finally chess, until they discover that the only game that they could ever truly win is hidden and buried deep within them. Johnson adds I am so proud, honored and humbled to be working with such an extraordinary talented team of individuals. In addition to Jarvis, Crawford and Larsen, Johnson also enlisted the creative talents of set designer Andrew Layton, Assistant Choreographer, Erica Robson and Willam Panzarella as director of marketing and promotions; the show will be co-produced by Allen Walls and produced by Franco Sama and Shawn Strider. EXPULSION is scheduled to premiere in Los Angeles in the autumn of 2010. Cygnus Public Relations
