Age of the children in acute phasewas 3.017.5 years (mean 12.1 y) and the children ofremission was 3.517 years (mean 13.3 y). There weretwo control groups: 30 healthy children and 10 childrenwith reactive arthritis.

ResultsIn acute phase number of lymph act was increased anddecreased in remission. In acute phase and remission thenumber of TCR was increased and TCR wasdecreased.

Conclusion1. The subpopulation of lymph act, TCR , TCR cellsin peripheral blood in children with JIA is differ fromhealthy children and children with reactive arthritis.

2. There is a correlation between the subpopulation oflymphocytes and exacerbation of JIA.

from 15th Paediatric Rheumatology European Society (PreS) CongressLondon, UK. 1417 September 2008

Published: 15 September 2008

Pediatric Rheumatology 2008, 6(Suppl 1):P18 doi:10.1186/1546-0096-6-S1-P18

15th Paediatric Rheumatology European Society (PreS) Congress Wietse Kuis, Patricia Woo, Angelo Ravelli, Hermann Girschick, Michal Hofer, Johannes Roth, Rotraud K Saurenmann, Alberto Martini, Pavla Dolezova, Janjaap van der Net, Pierre Quartier, Lucy Wedderburn and Jan Scott Meeting abstracts A single PDF containing all abstracts in this Supplement is available here.

This abstract is available from:

2008 Mazur-Zielinska; licensee BioMed Central Ltd.

AimMaterials and methodsResultsConclusion
