The site contains comprehensive information about the band, features </p><p>on band activities, band events, band support, information skills and student accomplishments. </p><p>Safety is always paramount and staff checks all content before being published on the web. Chil-</p><p>drens photos featured on the bands website are only referred to by their first names, if we feel it is </p><p>necessary to use names. AAHB prefers to keep student photos anonymous in its publications for </p><p>safety reasons. </p><p>____ Yes, you have my permission to use my childs photo. </p><p>____ No, do not use my childs photo. </p><p>COMMUNITY AWARENESS/PUBLIC RELATIONS PHOTOS </p><p> As we participate in our community, we have opportunities to provide photos of our students in </p><p>newsworthy events. Photos may be used in the newspapers, band promotions, and in band bro-</p><p>chures and fliers. Safety is always paramount and staff checks all content before being published. </p><p>Childrens photos featured in an AAHB publication are only referred to by their first names if we feel </p><p>it is necessary to use names. In such an event, AAHB will notify the parent and student to ask for permission </p><p>to use his/her last name in a printed publication such as a local newspaper. AAHB will never use a </p><p>last name of a minor on the website. </p></li></ul>
