Concrete to Crops High above the streets of the historic borough of Brooklyn are three of the worlds largest sky farms. Over 6 days, as part of an intimate tour group of 10, youll explore how these inspiring commercial enterprises are turning concrete into crops. 4. Veggies in the Sky Youll be amazed to see how some farms cover more than 2 acres of a buildings rooftop. Youll learn about their engineering and construction. 5. Chooks on the Roof As well as growing acres of fruit and vegetables, these roof top farms have chook houses and bee hives producing fresh eggs and honey for local residents. Youll get a chance to get your hands dirty, collect some eggs or help filter some honey. 6.
